Hi all,
Finally bit the bullet and started back on antibiotics for my relapse.

I have been taking 500 mg ery-tab(erythromycin) with my 3 meals a day and 200 mg plaquenil twice a day with my snacks.

Drinking tons of fluid and taking supplements and acidophilus.

The main thing that is killing me is the abdominal pain! I am not having nausea or anything it just hurts.

It is not hurting the entire day but off and on. Any ideas on what may hep with this would be greatly appreciated!

If you've just started, I'd suggest backing off a bit, then slowly increasing to the full doses.

I'm very sensitive and always start things slowly. Good luck.

Thanks guys! I will try the upright thing today. Was wondering if tums or anything might help? I might try that today.

Don't take Tums without checking with a Pharmacist or your Dr. Some antiobiotics don't work well with

Tums, Pepto etc.

Make sure you follow the directions on the antibiotics. Some say to take with food and others not to.

If I waited even 20 minutes after eating my stomach would flare up. I had to take the abx

right after eating a meal.
