Mario Vaccaro, Fabrizio Guarneri, Francesco Borgia, Serafinella P. Cannav, Salvatore Benvenga. Thyroid. December 2002, 12(12): 1147-1148. doi:10.1089/105072502321085261.

"We describe a peculiar presentation of lichen sclerosis (LS), because of its almost simultaneous association with Hashimoto's thyroiditis in a patient seropositive for Borrelia burgdorferi, thus raising the possibility that this spirochete might trigger the clinical appearance of these two diseases."

You're welcome, sammy.

You know you have Lyme Disease when:

If you win the lottery you will be subscribing to all the expensive medical journals, to be able to share pertinent info with other Lyme patients, and investigate the disease even more.

I wonder if anyone here has access to this resource and can kind of summarize some of the details within? Is that considered fair use? I might be able to get one of my siblings that are in the sciences in college/grad school to get access.

So true nenet!

I miss being a student and having full access to all the medical journals I could find. I always had trouble doing my research papers because I would spend so much time reading additional articles.
