Doc says take 200 mg doxy 2x day & 500 mg biaxin 2x day for LD & bart treatment.

Has anyone done this? If yes, what was you experience?

when i began this 5 yrs. ago, my "new" learning from lyme patients dr. had me PULSE this...


at this time i was 35 yrs. misdiagnosed before correct dx.

3 days of biaxin, 2 days off then
3 days of doxy, 2 days of then back to biaxin

i wrote on my calendar in order to know which to take.

i herxed but it gave me a slight reprieve too.

your doses is what i was on then...

I took that combo, finally quit because the biaxin made me an insomniac. But, that was me. Lots of people on the board think biaxin is great. I didn't have any tummy issues though.

I took doxy and zithromax, which is related to biaxin. It was a good combo.

I took doxy and biaxin, same doses you were prescribed, while I was taking IV Rocephin. IV Rocephin did nearly nothing for me until I added this combo, and then wow!

I started to feel slowly better for the first time! That combo helped with my arthritis, neuropathy and muscle jerks. Now that I've gone on to other meds, though, that's all back. I was a big fan of these with Rocephin!

Biaxin works Slowly but it dose work-
and helped me alot--Jay--
