Hello, I am going to add low dose quinine (1 tablet of 324mg and later maybe 2 tablets).
Please let me know if someone has any experience with this. Thanks!

I was doing 324 mg Qualaquin (quinine) 3 times a day. Can't tell if it is any kind of miracle yet, but I did have some kind of massive herx on days 10-14.

It is hard to know if that could have been from increasing some of the herbal remedies I was on (Enula and cryptolepsis), but I had been slowly increasing those for awhile, so I am pretty sure it was the Quinine/Clindamycin causing the herx.

The herx was basically lots of neck stiffness, and headaches/migraines from hell---two things I pretty much never get.

But then it faded, and now I'm back to wondering if the meds are working.

Recently I started getting a stuffy feeling in one ear, and my hearing wasn't as good, so I cut back my quinine to 324 mg twice daily....so far, not a big difference.

I started right in at 3 pills a day, to give you an idea. I might have gotten more tired, but I didn't herx until the 10th day, like I said.

I took clindamycin and low dose quinine for babesia. I would have taken two tablets, but the ear ringing was too much!

Did nothing for me. To be fair though my doc had me on it for two 10-days runs only at low dose. That can't possibly do much. If it takes 4 months minimum to treat Babesia, it's a useless approach IMO.

It did cause ear issues and left sided weakness. I feel the Rxed dosage of Clindamycin was WAY WAY too low for Babesia. I know I couldn't take 1,500 mg of Quinine though as the iDSA suggests.
