This is going to be long. I'll space it out to make it easier to read.

What I would like to know (after you read below) is what you think? Has anyone every tried this protocol? Does it work?

I have purchased a book, "Natural Cures for Killer Germs" by Dr. Cass Ingram.

In the book he has a chapter on Lyme Disease. Quoting from page 105 "Treatment protocol" reads,

"The Lyme spirochetes burrow into brain and nerve tissue.

Due to its ability to cross the blood-brain barrier the Juice of Oregano is crucial: drink at least an ounce twice daily. Hold the juice in the mouth as long as possible before swallowing. To make it more palatable it may be added to tomato or V-8 juice or perhaps, fresh-squeezed vegetable juice.

Also, take the potent antiseptic spice pill, the Oregacyn, two capsules twice daily.

Take also the Oreganol oil of wild oregano under the tongue, 10 or more drops three or more times daily.

For the fatigue and exhaustion take the unprocessed royal jelly, that is the Royal Kick, four to six capsules every morning before breakfast.

Also as an additional aromatic essence take the Juice of Rosemary, two ounces twice daily in hot water. This rosemary essence also crosses the blood-brain barrier.

A topical therapy can also be appied. Simply rub the spine up and down with the Oreganol. The SuperStrength is the preferable type for this purpose. This will drive the medicine into the spinal tissues, where the actions are most needed.

The oil may also be rubbed up and down the thighs. For lymphatic drainage an upward rubbing motion is preferable.

The Lyme bacteria is difficult to kill.

In order to do so a prolonged therapy is required. At least a six month course of therapy is advisable."

End of quote.

Looking forward to your comments.

Adding to the above:

PS: My husband is very sick with Lyme Disease. He has had it many years and has not responded to abx. We are checking out ALL OF OUR OPTIONS.

PSS: It was because I got Lyme Disease through a tick bite in 2003, that we realized my husband had Lyme Disease (that he acquired through a blood transfusion in 1994). He was tested for Lyme and was positive.

I did get better however relapsed once. He went to the same doctors I went to (first: Dr. C in MO, then after my relapse second: Dr. W in TX).

You can read my story under "Success Stories".

But my husband has not responded to the abx due to having Lyme for so long.

We are knocking, seeking and praying for answers.

Again, look forward to your comments regarding Dr. Cass Ingram protocol. Anyone heard of it?

I don't know anything about this protocol but I have used Oreganol to stay well during the cold/flu season and it works.

I would try it. I think naturals can be powerful.
