Tried artemisinin couple times first time for 2 days and today just one capsule, and every time I take it fell almost 100% better.
By the Igenex lab no coinfections. Anybody on treatment for babs fells like that.
Is it supose to make you herx and fell bad from taking it.
Confused dont know what I'm fighting with artemisinin . I know that kills bacteria viruses even mold. Like to know experiences from others with artemisinin.
Thank you for any input.

How much are you taking? Are you taking it with anything else?

I'm pulsing it right now at high doses. By the end of day 1, I have no more night sweats and heart palps are calmed down. It all starts back up on day 2 of the "off" days.
I know I'm fighting babs, though. It is all I have left to deal with.

I had babesia flares every 7 days like clockwork. Flare lasted 48 hours and was horrible, totally debilitating mentally and physically.
My now famous lyme doc had me take artimesinin to encompass the flares. In other words, I started taking it right before the flare was due to start and continued taking it until after the flare ended. I took it from Friday morning through Sunday night of every week. (3 days on, 4 days off)
The first weekend I took it, it was like a miracle! The flare started late and was mild and only lasted 6 hours instead of 48. It was totally unbelievable.
Each week, the flare was less and less. Finally it was just a need to sleep for 1/2 hour. Then, it skipped to every 14 days. Finally, it was totally gone.
I am so happy for you. Other threads, the people are all saying art makes them feel much worse. Now, we have the voices of those who felt better with art. Hooray!
You are definitely fighting babs if the art is helping you.

I don't know if I have babesia but I'm taking artemesia. It does make me feel worse but in a way that feels like a herx.
This may be good since not many of the drugs I took in the past did this. My main symptom is increased pain. So, I'm going to go with it & see what happens over time.
I also have been having headaches, increased pain in my shoulders & hips, achey feeling all over, malaise, increased fatigue & some intestinal discomfort.
I definitely have been feeling different. When the herxing subsides when I stop taking it for a day or so - I do feel better.
