Hi all - tried Levaquin over a year ago with the Rifampinm worked great but Levaquin gave me side effects like losing sleep etc. So my LLMD moved me to two weeks of Zithro 2x a day plus Rifampin one - three a day. I need to check my dose.

Anyway, i refilled zithro and Rifamp today and am starting tomorrow. Do I take these pills together or pulse them? The nurse mentioned magnesium??? She porbiotic of course.

LLMD left for a two week trip today so I won't see him for a while. But my symptons show no mercy and have come on strong and hard so I am starting the meds again tomorrow. Can anyone suggest how these are to be taken? Would sure love any help!

My child always takes the Rifampin at least an hour apart from the Zith to offset any increase/decrease in drug absorption............

if you can't reach your LLMD, check with your pharmacist though to be sure.
