I'm confused. You were positive on ALL these bands you posted?

Then you have Lyme

--------------------
First Symptom 9/09
Multiple docs, negative Labcorp test
LLMD: 1/10
Positive Igenex/CDC test
Treatment 2/10
2/10-8/10 Amox, ceftin, zith, flagyl
Currently: Bicillin, Minocycline, still dealing with severe breathing issues

The first bands had a + next to them. The others did not have a + but were double starred ?

It would be best if you could post the test exactly as it's written. Stars and + mean two entirely different things. Also, some bands probably have + or ++ or +++ which also means different things.

I would hate to interpret what I *think* you're saying and be misunderstanding you.

Lyme all over the place!! Band 83-93 alone means you have the DNA of the Bb.

Are you already in treatment? You've been around a long time.

PS.. The double starred bands are the Lyme specific ones.

Also tested " hi " for Epstein Barr. I see that could intervere with testing. Are there specific bands that could not be affected by EPS ?

You mentioned a positive for EB...which on the Igenex lab results it says that if you have positives for certain bands it could be a false positive because of EBV and other viruses. So what does that mean exactly, does anyone know? I had a lot of the same bands positive, but back in high school I had EB, which I think is linked to Mono? Anyone know about EBV and Lyme and distinguishing the two on Western Blot? Does EBV cause similar symptoms as Lyme? I'm going to an LLMD on Monday so hopefully some of my Q's will be answered.

IF not too much bother; Could you please interpret the results for me also? I was very "Sick" only 2 yrs at the time of the test. Thanks in advance, Buzz

buzzsflybox ... I think they were referring to 6t5's results.

Your results show NO positive bands. Are you sure you typed everything right. You show negatives (-) beside everything ...

positive bands would have (+) beside them!

--------------------
Bite 4/22/12
abx 5/03/12
neg. Lyme
pos. Cpn 5/17/12

Bite 5/22/10
abx 6/25/10

IgM Igenex Positive & CDC/NYS Positive with 18+ ; 23-25+; 31+; 34+; 41+; 66+; 83-93 (IND)

IgG Igenex Positive; CDC/NYS Negative with 31+; 39 (IND); 41++; 58+

Buzz.. Sorry, I just now found this! Looks like yours is completely negative. None of those bands has a + .. right??

31 IND could mean something. You can get a confirmatory test on band 31 if this was done thru Igenex. If it comes back positive, then it's Lyme for sure.
