I'm narrowing down my options. If you've seen JF please let me know of your experience. The fees are posted up front on her website. I thought that was good. no guessing or surprises thanks

The doc just moved into a new house and is moving into a new office sometime in the next couple of weeks. Has hired an office staff person who seems pretty good. Has had multiple issues with phone and computer access in the past few months, but hopefully everything will be back on track soon.
Doc will only treat with orals due to NC medical board attitude.
The doc has had lyme so can relate to symptoms very well. Also will do phone appointments which can be helpful if travel is difficult.

She treated my 5 year old for a number of months, but then I had a difficult time getting a hold of her (probably b/c of the move) to obtain my son's lab results and decided to stop treatment. He was doing better, but I feel he needs continued treatment and I will probably take him to Dr. J in DC or to Dr. P in NC(due to his pediatric experience).
I did like her a lot. She is caring and knows a lot about lyme. She is dedicated to lyme patients and feels strongly about helping. She also took the time to reassure me that I would get better (I'd just started IV treatment and was extremely ill) and wanted to know all about my experience, and never felt rushed with my son. I found communication with her to be difficult outside of visits though.
I had to go out of the state to Dr. J in DC for IV treatment as the NC medical board won't allow physicians to treat with long-term IV antibiotics. Dr. J helped guide my son's treatment and she was open to his suggestions for the most part.
Hope all goes well. She treats a number of patients in my area.
