I'm a summer student at the mayo clinic in rochester, and they diagnosed me for something viral. EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS AN EM RASH!!!! They ran some blood work and a lyme's disease test, but all that came back negative DUH, it was in the very early stages. I went back to oklahoma city, and sought out an infectious disease doctor, and she diagnosed me with lyme's immediatly.

The Mayo is useless when it comes to diagnosing Lyme Disease. Believe me, I speak from experience and poorer in the ole pocketbook.
You are very close to one of the best and most respected LLMD's in the country. You are actually closer to him than I am and I now see him.
You can get his contact information from his website.
Just click that search button up under Post New Topic and use the Keyword, Mayo, and you'll get a plethera of reasons why, and experiences of poster's NOT to go to the Mayo for Lyme Disease.
Hopefully, with you having an "in" there, that you might change things. But, I will not hold my breath. Mayo, boo!!!

I went to the Mayo in Jacksonville and had no luck whatsoever either. Just a huge bill as a pleasant reminder.
