Hello, I am desperately seeking a specialist in my area so that I can stop wasting my money or my neurologist and infectious disease doctor. I have been treated from April to July. In early Nov I got a Flue shot and since then I have recurring lyme symptoms and I am miserable. Recently had blood work repeated but the doctor will not prescribe anything until the results are in. I know its lyme or co-infections that have not been treated and I need a specialist that does look or think I am crazy. Please help.

Sent you some names and some info.

Once you get to a lyme doctor, you will no longer get treated like you are crazy. We all went through that. It is due to the major medical controversy surrounding this disease.

Welcome to LymeNet! We will help you here.

PM sent for PA.

"It's all in your head" is a common explanation when they can't figure it out!!

Btw - please break up your posts into 2-3 sentence posts, as there are people on Lymenet who cannot read large blocks of text due to neurological problems from Lyme. Thanks.

Frederick has a lyme support group and Facebook page. I've not attended the meetings myself:
