I am planning to see Dr. J.for lyme and babesia duncani. I am doing quite ok but my tests still look not so good. Is it a good idea to travel to see him or is he just ordering the abx.

The tests will always look bad. Go by symptoms. If you are "doing quite ok" then continue doing what you are doing.
I'll PM you after I move this to Seeking a Doctor.....

Is Dr. H in NY an option? Should I buy his book?
My tests have been better last year but I had a lot of die-off and maybe this is the reason for the blood test.
