Beg, borrow, steal to get to Dr. E. She will work with you if needed.

You only get one life. And yes, Lyme can kill you (and there's an awful lot of Lyme ignorant Dr's in NJ).

Click on the 'my profile' link above and then click 'view/edit profile'. There is a little box at the bottom which asks you if you want to enable private messaging. Just click yes!!

improver,

In order to enable PM (Private Messaging), click on "my profile" (approximately top/center of all LymeNet Flash pages), then click on View/Update Profile .
Update your profile and you're done.

I started out searching for a LLMD who would take insurance.

Made a lot of calls, read a number of posts on this board, did quite a bit of other reading.

The doctor I decided to see in June was out of network and out of state. I tapped savings and have also taken a second mortgage on the house to pull all this off.

If I had it to do over again, I would make exactly the same decision!

ok you've been pmed. This is the LLMD who dx me and read every peice of paper in my medical file.

He also called me personally to give me my test results over the phone. I was very impressed with him.

I go to Dr. S now because they couldn't find any proof of lyme in mri or spec. So I made the desicion to go to a regular LLMD since seizures are not my number one problem.

If seizures become out of hand (more than 2 a year) then I'll probably go back to Dr. R.
