Hi Everyone,
Has anyone had any experience with any neurologists at Stoneybrook University Hospital in Long Island, NY? You can e-mail me privately if you have. Thanks!

It's been my impression that Stoneybrook should be avoided altogether.

Not familiar with any neurologists there. I have seen a Dr. L in NYC. He is the director of peripheral neuropathy at Weill Medical College, Cornell University.

I will be seeing him on Monday for my second visit.

I don't know how much he knows about lyme disease, but he does have it on his differential diagnosis.

And I think he believes Lyme is what has caused my neurological issues. (EVERYTHING else has been ruled out.)

I am going to ask him to please begin educating other neurologists (see my post about neurologists in General Support).

Personally speaking I had a horrible experience at Stonybrook with a neurologist and would never recommend anyone go there.

That is just my opinion however I wouldn't send a dog there. A total nightmare is all I will say.
Please learn by someone elses misfortune.

Please do yourself a favor and stay clear.

Stay far away from stonybrook. It's a duck motel.
