I went once, paid a lot of money and left with high priced vitamins which are sold out of the office. I think we just didn't click because I do know some who are very happy there.

I removed the city and state from this topic's subject. LymeNet prohibits the posting of cities and states for the Lyme Literate doctors in order to protect them.
Thank you.

My experience wtih her has been very positive.
To respond to what Scott said, she does sell vitamins -- they're a pretty high grade. But when I compared her prices to prices on the internet, hers are comparable or in some cases less money. Plus, she really suggests vitamins (many in Dr. Bs protocol) but doesn't really care where you buy them.
I found her rates were comparable to other LLMDs in the area. Mostly, I'm feeling better; to me, that's the litmus test. I'm not 100% yet, but I credit her wtih the progress I've made so far.

Jennifer, I thought you were supposed to include the city and state but not the drs name. How would people know how to respond if they do not know the dr's name, city AND state? Scott, I had the same experience with my first appt a couple of weeks ago. It's not the vitamins that were the problem, it was the amt of time spent talking about the vitamins, the fact that I couldn't get just a 30 day supply, I had to fill out paper work that committed me to "autoship" which since I am a distributor of supplements from a different company, realized there were benefits for some distributors to set up their clients on autoship. I thought the exam room was too dirty. The paper on the exam table wasn't even changed from the prior patient. My suggestion would be if the dr's office is atleast a manageable distance from your home, go check it out before your first visit. Another thing to do is what we are all doing right now. Sharing our experiences with all of these drs that we go to. We all have different levels of what we can accept and I think we can all benefit from the info that we gather here and make the best decision we can for ourselves.

I haven't been asked to join or commit to buying anything in this doctor's office...
But at this point, i'm only seeing her once every two months.
As far as the cleanliness, at my first visit, I was too sick to notice much of anything. I just felt grateful to have someone taking me seriously, after years of being blown-off by doctors in my area.
Now, I schedule for the first slot of the morning, so that really doesn't affect me.
I think bugged is right that the forum is a good place to share ALL our experiences, so we can then make completely informed decisions.

had excellent results with a course of oral ceftin while under this physicians care, and have the utmost respect for the doc's judgement when it comes to supps.
bought some supps., ones which i knew i wanted beforehand anyway. having been to many docs, conventional, and alt./comp./integrative who had supps. to sell,i was not the least surprised teh doc sold supps. before treatment,i didn't know the doc sold supps. in my case,it was only when i brought up the topic of supps. to take--and AVOID-- did the doc. say they had some if i wanted. we had a short, rapid, but in-depth discussion, with me mostly talking.
on a 10-scale i give the doc an 8.25-9 both for brains and beauty. no body gets a 10,not even me.
