I was one of Dr. B.'s patients and was looking for an aggressive LLMD that uses IV as I cannot tolerate high doses of oral antibiotics. He suggested a Dr. G. in New Jersey but I don't know anything about her. Does anyone here see her and if so is she very aggressive? Thanks!

Hi,

I was also recommended by Dr. B. to Dr. G. I don't know anything about her , but I did call up this morning, and they said she follows Dr. B's protocol, and she does believe in IV and IM shots.

I did make an appointment to her.

I'm currently seeing Dr. G and being treated with ceftin for 6 weeks (500 mg 2x/day) which is lower than what Dr. B recommends. I'm not much better at the moment and have an apppointment for Monday morning. We'll see what she wants to do - I'm hoping to switch to a higer dose of doxy.

I've had no problems with her, she's been very pleasant with me and is actually treating me even though all tests were negative....but all symptoms are VERY positive and I herxed after a few days of treatment.

I am currently seeing Dr G. I also saw her 10 years ago so we have a long history not always good. 3 months ago when my test was negative she was adamant that testing has improved and that it could not be a false negative. It's a long story but last week she said "the tests are not 100% accurate" and put me on doxy. I have an appt with Dr E for a second opinion.

Hi all,

I just saw Dr. G. today-on Dr. B.'s recommendation- for the first time and she seemed pleasant and throrough.

Why don't you like her? Is it that her treatment is not effective or that her personality throws you off?

She seems to consult with Dr. B. as well.

There has been a lot of good talk - bad talk about her on this site, more bad than good. I've have heard about good things though. Seronegative treament is a plus as far as I'm concerned. Stick with her but if you fail to respond or begin to loose faith, get a 2nd opinion. There are a lot of good LLMD's out there.

I just switched to her this summer and I thought she was well worth the 4 hour trip! She is professional, confident, and thorough. She also is a good listener. It appears as though I am in remission and I will be doing periodic bicillin shots to prevent relapse.

I see Dr. G in NJ and she is wonderful. I have seen her for 3 years and she is one of the MD's that saved my vision. She is very thorough and has a great bedside manner.

Healed of Lyme in June of '04. Had it for 20 years before God led me to the right diagnosis. Had neuro-borreliosis (sp??). SEVERELY.

Now I'm "all grown-up" and no clue how to deal with life! I still live at home, and have many a bad day.
