I have chronic lyme and my latest labwork showed
very high #'s for Rheumatoid Factor and the auto immune #'s pointing to Sjorgrens or

scleroderma. My llmd wants me evaluated by a rheumotologist asap before going forward with IV

abx. I need a name quick so I can jump through the rheumies hoops and get on with my Lyme

treatment. Please Help!
Tried LDA dr referral. My computer will not

allow me in for some reason.
I am going overseas next week and would like to

atleast get an appt set up so that it is taken care of before I leave. Thank You!

Also, and I hope that I don't offend anyone with this added request/info. My llmd does not want

me to make appt with W. Caldwell, NJ LLMD whose specialty is also rheumotology. Apologies to

anyone that loves him/her. I'm just doing what
I'm told!

My Spect scan was done at Columbia and they said that would be the ideal place to find a

rheumotologist. I don't want to end up with a super-quack, so I'd trust you guys more with a

recommendation. The llmd office thought that would be a good idea but its just an idea, so

anywhere in N. NJ would be ideal.

OK, now I'm really done [Smile] Thanks again!

That's OK! I'm confused all of the time also!

That will just make it easier for us to understand

each other! I'll check your pm.

W. Caldwell is West Caldwell. It's on the western edge of Essex County.

If anyone has any more suggestions for rheumotologists, I would so appreciate it. It

does not have to be an llmd rheumotologist. That would be great but not a deal breaker.

Thanks!

There is a group of doctors called the Arthritis and Rheumatic Disease Center at St. Barnabas. Not LL but good doctors. You can try them.

I would caution you about Dr. G in Basking Ridge. I had a very bad experience with her 9 1/2 years ago. I know others have had more success, but generally when SHE does the LD diagnosis.

I believe that if you already have an LD diagnosis she will not be as cooperative. I could be wrong, of course. Just a word of caution.
