My husband is having unexplained neurological symptoms which may be Lyme; he went camping about 6 weeks ago so I'm concerned it may be recently acquired (I realize it may be 'old' LD as well).
I'm desperately seeking a LLD, hopefully in this area but anywhere within driving distance, who might be able to see him SOON! I'm aware of a couple of LLD's and have made two appointments, but they have six-week waiting lists and I've been unsuccessful in getting a sooner appointment. I'm worried that it might be too late to prevent a serious problem.
If anyone knows of a LLD, especially one who might now be heavily booked yet, or even a 'regular' doctor who would be open to looking at/prescribing for possible Lyme(ours isn't), I would be very, very grateful.
My husband is really sick - basically almost incapacitated at this point - and I hate seeing him this way!
Thank you so, so much.
(This is my first message but my understanding is that I can be contacted by email through this board - if that's not correct please reply and let me know).

I know of a doc at a walk-in clinic in RI if you have interest. PM me if you would like info.
