After having symptoms for more than a year and a half
and just recently having a possitive test
I had some positive bands almost 3 years ago, but not enough to "have Lyme Disease"
I saw an infectious disease expert while having horrible herxing symptoms after being put on the antibiotics by my PCP
....he believes that because I never found a tick or had the bullseye rash and that the bands show that I have only had the disease for 4-6 weeks
the test was a false positive and I am simply depressed and having physical symptoms of that depression.
I'm desperate to find a doctor near Bridgeport CT that can help me.
My PCP is supportive of my test results, but even he thinks that I am in the accute phase
he can't explain why I have felt terrible for over a year now.
I'm at my wits end.....any info you could provide would be so greatly appreciated.
