Looking for a good Lyme neurologist in the eastern U.S. quickly. I'm in Kentucky, but will travel any reasonable distance to get good care quickly.
I have a preliminary diagnosis of CIDP through an EMG test. I have had Lyme 9 years, was treated, was doing well off abx for a few years and now this year have this crazy demyelinating neuropathy. I am back on antibiotics and low-dose naltrexone through my SC LLMD. I have a call in for a request for referral to a neurologist, but it's taking them a long time to get back with me. Too long.
I lost sensation in my face and head today and am very worried about irreversible damage.
Any leads appreciated!
