I have just heard from Betty's neighbor and friend who was with her at the hospital for her surgery.
The doc said the surgery went fine, although Betty's bones seem to be softer than most women her age.
Betty woke up from anesthesia complaining of tailbone pain. She just wanted to sleep and rest.
They will have her up walking TOMORROW and will start rehab right away. Betty's friend will contact me again when she is able for further updating.
I want to find out how to send a card or something else to help cheer her along in her recovery. When I learn the best way, I will post it here.
Please continue to keep Betty in your prayers.
Blessings to all, Janet

Betty phoned her neighbor from the hospital today after her REHAB session. It still amazes me how quickly they start this process.
The only complaint she had was a sore throat which was probably from the tube placed there during the operation.
She is in good spirits. Her neighbor will be driving to the hospital tomorrow and will report any more news.
WAY TO GO BETTY!
