AWWW, Dave!

Another Friday night with you and the cats, huh?

Actually, I can't trump that scenario myself. I've been at work all day and just don't have the energy to do anything more tonight.

The rest of the weekend: well, I'm having tea wtih a friend in the morning. Taking the dog to the dog park. Then we've got a dinner party tomorrow night.

On Sunday, we're going to an art show.

That's a full weekend for me... but I suspect I'll love every minute of it.

If you're interested in the art show, come along! We'd love to have you...

Andie

Boring for me too. Just me and my cat, but i enjoy her company. She is more like a person then a cat.

I made swordfish and chicken wings tonite, about to go reheat some more wings, and possibly a veggie stirfry. Might watch some greys anatomy reruns on abc.com.

As for the weekend not too sure, weather is supposed to be nice, so I will try to sit outside for a lil bit and try to enjoy the normal world and repair some more of my damaged body.

Here I am reading Lymenet [Smile]

Actually, we are watching a great old movie,

To Sir With Love

1960s in London's high schools with Sidney Poitier
and Lulu...

Sometimes boring old tv is the best remedy!

Boy, what I wouldn't give for a couple of hours by myself watching anything on TV that I want to!!!!

I can't even type one sentence without one or both of my children interrupting for something or another.

Not that I am complaining.....but I get to watch Sponge Bob, Dexter's Labratory, Max & Ruby....

No wonder my Lyme brain isn't working as well....it's fried on children's cartoons.

Of course 4 of my 7 dogs are laying under and around my feet.....can't go to the bathroom without them or the children either.

Try to enjoy the peace and quiet.....I know I would!!!

Hugs,

Geneal

One of my daughters went to the library for me and got me several books on CDs to listen to and to

listen to in the car on my way to DR's appts. That has been wonderful.

I'd like to comment on some of the other posts but my brain is not up to it right now.

What am I doing tonight?

I am packing my bags because I am getting up early tomorrow and driving to the Grand CAnyon.

I will be staying all week. I will be taking the mules down into Havasupi Canyon and staying down in the canyon for a few days. I will also travel by horse to the falls and other parts of that area.

I haven't figured out how to take Rosie with me yet.

OK now for the truth. AFter I get off the lymenet website, I will be heating up some new organic soup I am trying for dinner. I will then channel surf. I most likely will watch Man vs Wild if he is on. Or something on the travel channel. Or see what movies are on.

I hope this message goes through. I am geting the error message on my computer. One of the error messages allows me to complete the task before it shuts me down....the other just shuts me down and I can't complet the task.

TV really sucks these days,,all reruns. Even 'poker after dark',,only been watchin it about 6-8 weeks and they are showing reruns of those already.

Why Greys anatomy has a reun of what they had on the night before,,,thats what you call wasted tv time. I like the show,,just the arrogance of constant reruns.

I try to find new stuff to watch instead but with a whooping 3 channels plus 2 PBS(which are the same most of the time) not much variety.

And some of those things they call tv shows,,,I would rather watch paint dry and grass grow. And they THINK thats funny???not even close!!!

All the good shows run out too fast!! Even Deal or No Deal is doing reruns most the time!!

Yep. TV programing is one of my pet peeves too Don.

But, it seems I can't live without it right now although I consider it at times and have tried it.

cobweb...we could put that to the tune of counting flowers on the wall....an old song I have not heard in a while

Change it to counting bruises.

I learned that I did a better job of not bruising myself than some of the nurses. Can't recall why I did not leave a bruise or why they did at this time.

I think it was when they pinched the skin and pulled it up before they inserted the needle.

there seems to be too schools of thought about doing that.

I did not bruise if I did not pull the skin up before inserting the needle.

Tonight is Monday night and that is, yes, i hate to say it, I love to say it,,,,

EASTENDERS night on public televisioN!!!!

Our whole family, husband, baby, 10 year old, are EASTENDERS addicts!!!! The 2 year old dances to theme song and we all sing it together (except hubby) when it comes on!! it is the only time I DO NOT ANSWER LYME CALLS 15 minutes before the show, 15 minutes after- I don't answer the phone at all!!!

We love Eastenders*)!*)!*)!*)!*!)

it is the only show I really watch... AND IT IS 5 years behind the air time in BRITAIN!!!!!!!!!
5 YEARS!!!! My older daughter and I have the books and have peeked at the website so we tantalize my husband with our knowledge of who is going to die or marry or etc next!!! It is very silly but we enjoy it!!!

OH STEVE!!! STEVE*)!*)!*)! Steve Owen is still alive in California but he has been dead in England for almost 5 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is a silly British soap opera!!!

We love it!!!

I get to explain life lessons to my older daughter who is often puzzled by it!!!!!!!!!!!
it is cute the things that completely ZING by her!!!

"Yes, sweetie, that person is called A PIMP!
That's because Zoe ran away from home and when you run away from home there are evil people out there trying to take advantage of you. Are YOU ever going to run away from home?"

(Look of fear and horror!!)

"No way Mama!"

(Good answer*)!*)! Yay Eastenders*)!*)!!
