We are now trying to save enough money for us to relocate.
This wasn't enough ...

the person who came here to help us a friend of my sons got fired from his job so he is moving back up north. (the help cost us more than helped us of course!)

On my way back from taking my eldest into work I had an episode of some sort (behind the wheel) and I have lost my memory of how it happened,. severely hit my head and finally now I am able to post here.

This happened 05/24, damaged our only reliable car. May has never been a good month ofr me I lost my father a couple of years ago to lyme.. it was the end of April I lost my husband the year before that.. to lyme..

I just thank God that we are all still alive ...

We have to be out of here by the end of July the boys are only getting about 30 hours a week .. seems no companies in this area beleives in full time work weeks..

Say prayers for us all

After the fire scare for this area we finally got a bunch of rain the fires were 90% contained for the past 10 days though.. rain was late getting here but now it is diffinately here.
Florida is not where we are supposed to be.. and Lake City has turned into a nightmare|
way too costly to live here...
HUgs to all of you!
Linda D

<<<<< LivinlymeLindaChere' >>>>> [my version of hugs!]

I am sorry that you would understand so well what TxCoord and I are going thru...no one should have to be able to understand what all this horror is like. Yet it is happening to more and more folks.

So glad that you are alive and able to tell what happend to you. Did you get checked for a concussion? I had one in '03,a couple days before we looked at the house we are now forced to sell,or be foreclosed.

Someone is wanting to by and we have been waiting for a week now to see if they can get the money/bankloan.We are staying in the church parsonage,as TxC' is pastoring here.

I am glad to have a roof over our heads, there are problems w/ the parsonage but we are living around them as best as is possible.

TxC' fell last night[he had WNV last fall and was told he isn't over it yet],after we both got overly tired moving some stuff away from a leaking Air conditioner [which has made the carpeting pretty nasty].I tripped trying to get to him when he fell...we are a pair some days!

Again, I am so glad you are alive, and your words on my vent post were so very helpful!!!

I am resting this evening as we move more stuff tommorrow,I pray we can get it all finished soon. Then we have to repack and put it in the church basement,in a room they use for storage.

Prayers going up that the Lyme issues ease up soon, and you start feeling better, also that you can find decent affordable housing Soon.

Love the Silverwolf!

silverwolf,
I have had 2 back surgeries.. I have been in a total of 12 accidents 2 of which were my fault (i gather if you count the last one as being my fault since I can not recall anything )

.. I was not checked but I fell into a deep sleep for 36 hours after the accident.. only to wake every 4 hours or so to complain my head hurt and then fall back asleep. I would make phone calls and then hang up and return to my sleep state..

my head had a scab on it where it hit the side panel of the door,, the skin when moved felt like there was sand under the skin.. I refused to get checked out since I did not know what was going on.

when i finally came around it was to hear more problems and my focus was directed to other issues not my health..

well they say if they tell you only a few weeks of antibiotics are enough ... run
well I keep running and running and getting intoa bigger mess...
for some reason today seems like a weight has been lifted from me.. that is usually a warning sign that something BAD is about to happen again..

I am hoping that doesnt happen and this is the SNAP everyone is telling me will occur and things will all start to fall into place and life will be brighter and better than ever..

I feel for you.. and yours.. and hope and pray that possibly the trial and tribulations will finally come to a rest..

thank you geneal,,
you are always there with a grand wish for the best..
Hugs,
LINDA D

i am so sorry to hear this.

Im heading that way too , im afraid. My former employers disability company cut me off, so now i have no income at all, and my savings is just about depleted because the money i was making wasnt enough to cover the expenses

i went to cvs and spent 70 on meds, and another 80 at whole foods, all money i do not have.

Hang in there, you are in my thoughts.

Sweety,is there a way you could go to an Urgent Care,or a lower cost/sliding fee clinic?

The headbump? w/ scab, and headache and the long sleep concerns me.

When I got a concussion in '03 [long story, a post fell on my head [dizzy] darn cat...] i did not realize it. It happened on a Sunday evening, and two days later some very wise net 'Gumbo Ya Ya' friends picked up something in my mannerism of typing, and confused mispellings.

I had a headache and stiff neck where the top 1/4 of the post landed, and had an upset stomach for a couple days. It didn't dawn on me that I had a concussion. These friends talked me into calling hubby-TxCoord. He took me to an Urgent care type place.

And yes it was a concussion, eyes were equal pupils wise and so on,so no scans. I was put on muscle relaxants and told to use ice and heat for the head and neck pain. I took those meds w/ some painkillers for a few months.

Especially w/ LD/TBD's I don't think we can always think real clear anyways. So we may not rrealize to seek treatment. Your accident and after affects concerns me!

How are things going as to getting out of where you are at? We are trying to be patient,as there's supposed to have been an inspector out today? or tommorrow?

If there is too much to be fixed we will have some issue...there's no monies...ya know how it is.But the bank porlly wouldn't lend to these potential buyers w/o inspection [which is of course wise]. I hope they'll let the folk buy as is and work on it?!?!

Hoping we can sell before july 10th,which is foreclosure date. It does seem like the Lyme beasties win all to frequently doesn't it.

I really find coming here to Lyme net,and going to the Gumbo Line a huge huge help...

I am praying that Creator opens something special that meets the needs, as a place for you and yours to stay, and brings you comfort and peace as well!!! [kiss]

thank you all for your kind thoughts..

yes I am sure I had a concussion but I discussed this with a friend and we agreed that they will tell you just that and charge you a whole bunch to come to that conclusion..they also said that the sound of the crunching under the skin appeared to be blood building up under the skin...

just rest and ice and heat and take some thing for the pain ... I am on so much for the pain...seems nothing helps the pain anymore..can't take muscle relaxants due to the fact they cause seizures...

I am on anti-siezure meds and I haven't had any during the night like I used to get .. was wondering ifI may have had one that cuased the accident or a MI since I have already had them before also .. not likely to have passed out since the body goes limp when this happens so how would I get the car to move over 200 ft and drive into a hwy.

I am getting my thoughts back in order as I said so I am not worried any more about the end result of the knock my my noggin...

the cuts and bruises on my knee along with swelling are mostly all gone now.. I am still alive..

SSA has an appointment scheduled for a mental evaluation on the 25th.. you know I could not recall who was the president but now I have that cleared up once again..

I don't know how the mental evals are determined but I do know that most every decission I make is only done with a full and complete detail and review by my mother.. without her; we would be in worse shape than we are right now...
then i get a physcial evaluation appointment scheduled for july 5th or 8th...

we have not heard anything about the house as yet should have heard if no by last night heard nothing.. agent thinks it is because they are trying to meet our requests.. so he is going to call tonight to find out what is going on...

I just wonder what more may be ahead of us.... adn I only hope that we can get through this mess..

I have checked on all the programs and agency help out here and they tell me they no longer offer help or the state cut the program or some nonsense or that they have no more funding available...

I just wish I could get somewhere that it does not cost a bunch to live and the state doesn't always hand out some lame excuse why they refuse to help..

seems my sons will bail on me no matter what once a female comes along and daunts on them they flip with the wind..

my girlfriend said that SSA should pay until my hearing but SSA tells me one thing then says another thing,, seems they don't know what to tell me or they change the rules as they go...

I did figure out that the lawyer group probably did this because I was nearing my maxiumum payout to them .. so they got a closed award because they knew I would get a continuous award without much more of a fight so they collected on that one and now they can collect more on this one ..

and drag it out for a long time so they get near the same amount they got last time..
it is seriously a political game and it is all about the money..
and because the lawyer is involved is the reason why SSA won't make payments until I win..

cause that means they won't get the full 25% of the award.. I am not that stupid but why should someone suffer as such because there is a flaw in the system?

Why should my sons have to forego college becuase the system is flawed and they are stuck taking care of me?

why should my burden be put on them and they are ready to leave here because of all the responsibility that it is placing on them..
this whole mess is literally tearing my family apart..

thank you for your thoughts.. I wish you all well.. adn thank youfor being here for me.. I have no one else to turn to for help that truely understands the mess this causes..

livin, you do NOT want to take the Minn. test of 500+ Q/A of true/false! you can answer either way because they use "and, or, but" etc. to confuse you!

the 2 regular mental tests were ok. do them SAME day; shows how you'll respond on a NORMAL FULL WORK DAY!! get up to pee, stand up for your aching body, they record EVERYTHING they see, YOU SAY !

I'M LIGHT, GLARE, REFLECTION SENSITIVE, so asked her to close blinds, etc. and sat there with my RX dark sunglasses on. she noted i could NOT see well enough to answer! NO WAY JOSE!

REQUEST A COPY OF THE MEDICAL RECORDS! you'll need a RELEASE OF INFO form! good luck w/everything. [group hug] [kiss] [group hug]

i couldn't understand your post. YOU ARE GETTIN SSDI, disability insurance benefits now?

you mentioned lawyer too ... i'm lost on that one; sorry. [confused]

bettyg,
I am not gettting SSD as yet got a closed award for 3 years) since lawyer was not prepared for hearing only fought for a closed award now have to start over again for a continious award..
stupid lawyer

binder and binder handled the case but they called the night before and asked where my medical records were from up north,, I had a copy of all of them but they failed to put it together before the hearing date.. I could not get them to him in time for him to prepare since it was less than 12 hours before the hearing..
they claim they did not have them...

the judge made a comment that my pain management doctor up north had stated there was nothing more they could do to help me with the pain.
now I have another doctor stating I am 100% disabled and there is no cure for my condition.
so now 2 doctors state there is nothing they can do for me.. one for my back and hte other for my medical conditions..
mostly the lyme issue..
I AM not certain I can sit in there and take a test for any lentgh of time I will not be able to get out of the chair if they do this to me..
even after 10 minutes I get so stiff I can not move any more..

I will have to have my son go with me to help me out of the chair also this is a mess and cruel and unusual punishment. IMHO...
I dread the thought of going and sitting without the comforts of my home..
oh the pain and the dread ...
it is emotionally tormenting..
