Just when I think I am beyond the stiff neck and headaches . . . WHAM!! [bonk]

Do they ever end? I will know that I am finally at the end of treatment when the stiff neck and these damned headaches are gone.

OK . . . sorry to complain. I know how lucky I really am . . . I am doing quite well, actually. But every once in awhile . . .

I am sorry too that you have to endure this.

Is there anything you can do to relieve it?

Warm compress on the back of your neck? Cool towel on your forehead?

What do you think this is from? Is it a herx symptom?

Hope it is gone by the time you read this! [Smile]

You know . . . I don't know what triggers the headaches. Just a part of what we all deal with, I guess.

I'll deal with it when I get home from work. A moist heating pad works wonders for me.

I'm actually embarrassed to have griped about it. I have had far worse headaches than this since my LD diagnosis. This too shall passs . . .

Have a great weekend everyone. Take a little time for yourselves . . . you are worth it!!

Lou,

I have "READ" where a supplement extra of magnesium cures MOST migraine type headaches.

It was found very soon after taking one the headache disappeared,,,at least lessened to bearable levels.

What can it hurt?? Try it,,hope it works for you. IF not then keep experimenting, you will find a help IF you look long enough!!!hopefully--just don--

Just Don!! You are an angel!

I was just thinking about the magnesium the other day. I have stopped taking my supplement, and have not had time for epsom salt baths lately.

This headache has gone on since last week, although it is much more bearable now . . . or I have just become accustomed to it. Anyway, I am going to try the magnesium. I'll let you know if it works [Smile]

I wonder that same thing sometimes. I've had headaches basically every day for a really long time so my doctor said I need to get a brain MRI. And I get a really bad stiff neck while herxing.

I can sympathize lou. I have been beaten down by four days running now of a stiff neck and severe migraine. It may have something to do with me herxing [Wink] in my case. But it STILL no darned fun!

Hope you feel better soon.

I've been taking magnesium since Tuesday, and the headache is much better. I also used moist heat on my neck for about an hour on Wednesday, and that seemed to also help. So, things are much better.

Thanks for your suggestions.
