Father's favorite quote

"There but for the grace of God go I".

Nice thought that gives you more compassion for others.

Mother's favorite:

"Same old soup warmed over"

Never heard that one anywhere else.

My favorite line I use when my daughter apologizes for her home being a mess....

"Sorry, it's genetic!"

When she complains about other things...

"Sorry, also genetic!"

New quote:

Life is messy, have fun making mudpies!

The best way to cheer yourself up is to try to cheer somebody else up

Mark Twain

Always do what you are afraid to do.

Ralph Waldo Emerson

I'm not confused, I'm just well mixed.

Robert Frost

Flatter me, and I may not believe you. Criticize me, and I may not like you. Ignore me, and I may not forgive you. Encourage me, and I may not forget you.

William Arthur

The harder the battle the sweet of jah victory.

Bob Marley

You can always tell a real friend: when you've made a fool of yourself he doesn't feel you've done a permanent job.
