hi jenifer,
would you please post the MODERATOR RULES Lou has worked on so hard these last 3 years after his major heart attacks?
he told me he finished them getting them to you, and i think it would help all members to know what is in them and what the SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES the moderators will have before they volunteer.
examples:
will they be able to DELETE "PORNO & SPAMMER" posts we receive; rarely actual porn but several spammer posts per day?
will they be able to move a post from 1 forum to another where it definitely belongs? seeking drs. and FEEDBACK on various drs.
banning will be only done by you, jenifer, and eventually when lou b is able to return to the board after recuperating to the fullest he is able to
i do think it is crucial whoever you select jenifer be allowed to DELETE PROMPTLY the spammers/porno especially with the graphic photos we've recently gone thru.
thanks jenifer; i look forward to viewing the moderator rules loub wrote up....

The ICD implant was successful and I'm healing and recovering. Right now, I'm chillin' and not doing too much, physically or mentally ... enjoying some down-time!
For a few more weeks I'm like a bird with one wing ... can't use my left arm for any lifting and can't raise it above my shoulder because of the risk of displacing the wire from the ICD, which is implanted just under my left collarbone, that has been threaded through a vein into my heart. The placement of the wire is very precise and if it moves it would require another surgery to re-position the wire. I could not drive for a while but my doctor lifted that restriction last week. They will also re-test the ICD, which means inducing cardiac arrest to see if the ICD restarts my heart. Of course, they will have the external defib hooked up "just in case" the ICD fails to restart my heart. Not fun but necessary. Bottom line, I'll be fine, I'm doing OK.
Here at LymeNet, I'll be taking a back-up role as a System Administrator, assisting the Moderators when / if they need help, guidance, someone to provide advice, etc.
Take care,

so happy things went well for you and you are recouping well with angela. wow, that would be hard NOT to move causing displacement of that wire.
