I understand what you are saying!!
It's been hot here too.
Although this weekend is supposed to be in the 70's...that will be a big change.
I live close to shopping but when ever I leave the house I always take some food with me for when I get hungry.
Depending on how carb restricted you are...I take almonds (Planter's makes some in a bag that are roasted with sea salt added, no oils), pecans (I just read the labels and make sure I'm buying nuts with no sugars or oils), bananas, apples, celery with natural organic crunchy peanut butter, etc.
Some people do not eat any fruit, but I do.
You could take cut up broccoli, green and red peppers, or anything like that for you to snack on.
Hope you found something to eat for supper that didn't require any cooking.

Welcome back tutu! Ummm...if that temp isnt going down in your apt at all yet id hunt maintenance down personally. Sheesh..its sat now so im behind. You could be wrapped up in your robe for all i know. San Francisco is sounding good right now! I fixin to have to hibernate cause our heat indexes are supposed to hit 110 according to the weatherman. Is it my imagination or is this summer especially brutal? Taking snacks is a good idea. Why didnt i think of that? Gotta come up with something...dont eat fruit except grapefruit and when i checked the carbs on nuts i freaked. That was my nighttime munchy when im reading. I swear im going to turn into a stalk of celery! After i get through my sons birthday party tomorrow im not leaving the house. Thats assuming i survive the party.
