Morning, Well, I have been treating this for just a year now. Have made great progress in many ways. Still dealing with lingering symptoms like ringing in ears, sometimes a fever. Overall, back to work back to my normal pace before all this hit.
I just feel like it's never going to end and feel so discouraged. I second guess everything I do, treat, don't treat. Is it getting better oh no, it's getting bad again. I know that there will be ups and downs.
I just wanna cry this morning as my throat is scratchy. So is that from my students, babs, lyme???
Anyone else feel this way?

Could be anything I guess. If those are your only symptoms, you are doing great... plus being able to work!! YEA!!
Maybe the babs is still in the picture. It's rather hard to get rid of.
Have you tried artemisinin and zith yet?

janice,
I know what you are saying.
I have been treating for 1 yr 8 months.
I am better for sure, but I have a ways to go with pain and I have lots of ups and downs too.
Stay the course. Slow and steady wins the race.
I am encouraged when I read how much you say you have improved!
That is so much better than being back where you were.
As for your scratchy throat...hard to say.
I use Zicam nasal gel or oral spray if I think I might be getting a cold. I use it at the first sign, as directed, and my symptoms go away quickly.
Hang in there. Many people would like to be as improved as you describe.
Big hugs!

I've had great luck with Zicam, too. Hope it works for you.

You are doing so much better than you were! Youre going to kick Lymes behind and have a totally normal life! As for the sore throat? No telling..could be just some drainage at nite. You might be second guessing yourself but it sounds like youve made the right decisions. Hang in there..you will get past this!

There are a lot of bugs going around. My family has been passing one around that includes a sore throat. It's bad, too, we're all totally wiped out by it.

janice, it sounds like you are doing really well overall!
Maybe you've been a little stressed lately, dealing with environmental/seasonal allergies, or your body might be trying to fight off a virus? These things always make me feel so emotional and weepy. When I cry for no reason I know I'm coming down with a virus.
Hang in there janice, you will get through this.

I am being a little lazy and not reading all of the posts.
I have had Lyme for many years. Yes it is up and down, somethimes in the space of a day, or hour, like my day today.
So I just want to give you general encouragement.
Keep smiling. You have a right to. We're all with you.
We'll Win

Thanks to all of you for the moving support and encouragement.
I know that one day this will all be over. Can't wait for that.
We are going to have a big party when this happens. The theme of the party will be"this is remission baby"
