I need support. I have been sick for 30 years finally diagnosed 1991 treated aggressively then lost hope and stopped treatment because drs were saying we don't know now maybe its autoimmune now.I took about 10 yrs off treatment and slowly declined I now have severe lyme encephalopathy and severe leg pains etc.. I had children who are sick with lyme now. My daughter has neuro lyme and cannot go to school. My ex husband tries to convince people I can't take care of her and that she should be in school. the school called dcf and they charged me with educational and medical neglect. My whole life is taking her to drs and therapists. I'm in despair and I am tired of defending myself while I'm sick Its like a battle between good and evil. i have strong strength in God but I need fellow lymies to help me through. I guess I just want to feel support. i also ask for prayer because I would die if my kids were taken from me. DCF is the devil they don't really care about kids If they did they would see the truth about their father and the truth about me.

Breaking this up, so that more people will be able to read it and respond.

nursejed,

There really are a lot of new meds and treatment ideas have changed a lot in the last 10 years since hubby first got sick.

Coinfections are one area that you probably were not treated for back in 1991. And that is what keeps a lot of people sick.

I am assuming you are from Connecticut. If so you should be able to find a local support group and maybe someone there can help you deal with DCF. It sounds like that needs to be taken care of ASAP.

Obviously you are a fighter. Don't give up the fight. It is good you are reaching out to others for help.

There are a lot of alternative txs that work as well. Antiparasitic herbs and the salt/c protocol saved my life and turned things around for me.

You can do a search on here under these subjects for more info. The added bonus is that these protocols are very inexpensive.

nursejed's post is requesting support, not advice on various treatments. That is a secondary consideration.

The most pressing issue is that she has been reported to DCF and needs our support. This is something that is best addressed through PMs.

So sorry you heart is troubled so much.

You are facing a horrendous situation and I want you to know we at least understand this horrible garbage that goes on.

How can we be of help to you?

Do you see Dr. J in CT for the kids? If not, can you?

I also suggest contacting the CT support groups. They may be able to assist in some way.

Let us know how you are doing... ok?

Thinking of you.

You may be able to get free legal help through local women's shelters and divorced parent support groups. If you are being manipulated, you need people on your side. These groups will understand.

With love,

Have you contacted your local Lyme support group?

I called mine when I was really stuck for answers, they were really helpful... not sure if you are in Wilton, NY... PM me if you are, I will give you the phone #!
