I don't know why the Lyme community isn't speaking out more about Plum Island. It scares me. Is anyone on this?

There is a good Jesse Ventura episode that explains pretty well what goes on at Plum Island. I would highly recommend watching...Lyme is man made.

Also, they are planning on moving the business to the lucky state of Kansas. Brilliant......if you are trying to infect us all.

Get the book Lab257 Plum Island, by Michael Carroll. It will open your eyes and scare the hell out of you. I've talked to a fireman from Long Island who knows the story. His brother got lyme AFTER getting that Damn Lyme Vaccine.
This is a must read!!!!!!!

Plum Island, MA is or was the ONLY
"Foreign Animal Disease Testing Lab" in the Country.

I've read articles that quoted gov agencies describing how Ticks would be a perfect Vector to spread disease (as in bio warfare)

Sure makes sense to me...totally explains the huge controvery with the IDSA and the CDC's outrageous guidelines. And, why we can't get better!! The disputed theory is that Lyme existed in Europe for hundreds of years, but if so, why on earth would we not know about it and why SUDDENLY in the 1970's it spread like wildfire first to a town in CT (closest neighbor to Plum Island) then continued at rapid rate to spread outward from there? At first I thought it was some crazy conspiracy theory but there was an article in National Geographic years ago explaining how an error on Plum Island allowed infected ticks to spread. I'm not good with the internet but if any one is maybe you could find it with the correct search?

hasn't lyme disease been around a lot longer than Plum Island? The ranger in Under our Skin even mentions its been around a lot earlier than the 1970's.

I always thought the premise behind lyme at plum island was they were trying to take an already existing bacteria and make it worse to be used as a possible weapon.

I will have to check out the book lab257 and see if I can understand more about this.

Lyme has been around hundreds and perhaps even thousands of years.

Even if Lyme has been in Europe for ions, why suddenly such an outbreak next to Plum Island in the 1970's? I think the thinking is that the bacteria may have been manipulated on Plum Island
and Ticks infected with new manufactured super Lyme to study for bio warfare.

It looks like most of the information out there say it was found in 1975 with an outbreak in Lyme CT

http://www.dhpe.org/infect/Lyme.html

http://arthritis.about.com/od/lyme/p/lyme_facts.htm

Also seems to be a ton of info on Lyme being created on Plum Island?

YES! IT is a three pronged CORRUPTION that put me here

1) PLUM ISLAND, and our marvelous government.

2) KAISER (refusing to test or treat for Lyme, Sending each of us to their Infectious Disease doctors, and instead telling every patient she/he has "Fibromyalgia"-the medical term for Painful Muscles! Like we didn't know THAT...

Google: "Kaiser Lyme" Thanks Kaiser! OH...and a special thanks to the Yosemite Valley Floor campgrounds, where generations of animals have not been WILD for generations, bringing tiny ticks to unsuspecting campers and hikers, who unwittingly may return year after year!

3) then the IDSA helping them along. ALL THREE are responsible for getting me here. KEEP READING, you can't go wrong!

Just watch out for LYME LIES designed to keep us from turning to our HMOs for help, and cutting into profits.

Sure, that's possible.

Fuelman.. I've had this since the late 1950's... so NO it has not been around only since 1975. Do your research on tick borne illnesses. You will find that it (particularly the EM rash) has been reported WAY back.. they just didnt' know what it was.

Lymetoo - I can believe that this is true. What baffles me, is that the past few years have shown a huge increase in infections. I am wondering what the catalyst would be?

Huge and growing deer population.. environmental factors making it easier for mice to also overpopulate. Just my guess.

Someone explained the changing ecosystem once and told how it affected everything .. but my memory is not all that great!! [Wink]

not a huge increase in infections at all,

just a huge increase in information technology,

the internet is saving us all.

If I didn't have the internet, I would have not been so educated and would not have been able to get treatment.

So, lots of people are getting "wise",

youtube also helps,

Pamela Weintraub's book helps

Under Our Skin helps

all these things helps get the message out, then more and more people are realizing why they feel so crappy,

and then, like me, they finally stand up and defend themselves against doctors who push the "your a depressed 40 year old loser whojust wants attention because they have nothing better to do" crap on them!

We have a right to know the truth!

The truth gets out, and I am very certain that this is still underreported!

I have heard stories of tests being lost or put in shadowed files! WHAT? I have heard of governments admitting that their tests have failed!

My own doctor admitted to me, 2 years later, that she and all the specialist all know that I had Lyme! and that I was actually very sick but no one wanted to risk treating me and helping me.

she was nearly in tears, she was begging me for forgiveness and mercy!

This is so bizzare! but true!

Lab 257 is an awesome book!

I have bought many copies of the book, the UOS video, and PAmela Weintraub's book to just pass around, mail to politicians and to mail to rich people and to donate to libraries!

I am not a doctor. I have no clue.

I just got the book.

The belief is that perhaps a Lyme like organism was around in Europe. An ex Nazi Scientist was hired to head up bio warfare experements. I think, Lymetoo, that this actually began in 1950.
It is factual that later at Lab257 there were tick colonies bred and infected with manipulated organisms at Plum Island. Plum Island had a history of careless errors with other deseases which got out. It's the only thing that can make any sense of this convaluted disease to me.
I have not read the book yet. But I'm sure it will further explain the way the CDC handles Lyme.

Interesting.. but I've never been anywhere near there. (yes, birds fly) I don't think I got the manipulated version... if there is one.

I need to keep the links the next time someone posts about the history of Lyme reports... dating back at least 100 years.

Fuel.. I think it's both.
