It is not the moderators duty to delete posts simply because someone does not agree with another's expressed opinion, unless LymeNet rules are violated in the process.

To make LymeNet a friendly site:

1. Please remember the moderators are people, just like you. Please try to work with them. We all want LN to run smoothly.

2. You are welcome to bring any alleged wrongdoing to the moderator's attention. Sometimes we don't consider something a problem, sometimes we do.

3. Treat each other with respect. If you're pretty sure that what you are writing would cause the other person to want to scream or fight back, then you need to either reword your posting or not say it at all.

4. Keep all debates civil and treat others with respect. Sometimes the best option is to agree to disagree.

5. Keep a positive attitude, don't be so quick to assume the worst from someone's posting. Above all, remember to treat others the way you wish to be treated, with kindness.

6. The open bully and the sneaky bully can both expect to be edited.

7. If you do not like a post or an opinion, you have the option to scroll on by.

8. Moderators can please some of the people some of the time, but they can't please all of the people all of the time.

9. If you have to wonder if a post is questionable and should be reported, don't report it.

10. Remember the Golden Rule at all times.
