Thanks, everyone! I took Lymetoo's advice -
I jet-skiied over to Sausalito (N of SF), ran up the Dipsea Trail (minimum 600 steps), hitchhiked over to Muir Woods to climb the tallest redwood tree I could find, bungee-jumped down,
flagged a hang-glider and had an expansive sail over the Pacific, landed at the Cliff House restaurant for a great seafood dinner which I caught with my own bare hands,
then finished up the evening enjoying 20 singers singing their hearts out, including a ukulele player who hula-hooped with a blue neon hoop as she sang.
Now guess which part of this is true - Posts: 13069 | From San Francisco | Registered: May 2006

Glad all went well.
We ALL know than Robin has NOT told a tall tale in her life. (pinch me if I am lying)
When I see a nesting Robin these days guess who I instantly 'think' of???
But if OUR Robin starts laying blue eggs we are sending her a coupon for a check up,,,PRONTO!!!
Just sayin' since IB--just don--

Thx to the recent posters here! I appreciate all your wishes! Birthdays are fun, aren't they? Yes, nice card, Carol!
Lymetoo, have you been to the Cliff House? I've had dinner there before, but this time I hung out in Sausalito, which speaks a 1000 languages - even the English might be from down under -
and the part that WAS true was the blue neon hula hooping ukelele singer at open mike! That's what gave me the impetus for my post afterwards, since I was still laughing about it!
