Hi daisy,
Good to hear that you and gwb are getting settled in and things are going well for you.
Ephhesians 3:20 is perfect!!! I think I will look that chapter up and read.
It sounds good to me if you want to start the new thread on Monday. Whatever works for you.
Thanks for the prayers...I'm also praying for everyone.
Have a great day friends!

I wrote this song and wanted to share it with you...although you can't hear the tune...you can read the words. May Jesus be your/my all in all.
Jesus, I love You.
My Savior, I thank You.
My King, I will serve You all of my days.
Messiah, I'm waiting and watching for your return.
Lord, I will worship you throughout eternity.
Have a blessed day and a wonderful weekend. Think happy thoughts-by God's grace Posts: 2188 | From Oklahoma | Registered: May 2008

Update on Caleb:
Hi guys,
Today has gone well. Caleb was able to participate in ST with no issues. In OT he became a little frustrated and refused to participate. However, he has been talking with his 1:1 more, and actually requested to speak with me. The staff was going to take a lunch over to another resident & he stated that he would like to go with her. He asked me if he could then and a nap when they came back. Blessed day.
Sheena H Windsor Program Director
Sheena is the awesome Christian "Mom" to all the residents of Caleb's home while away from home - The Windsor House. She is also one of the staff /caregivers you specifically pray for on Fridays of each week which did not go unanswered for this day!
Not only did Caleb's request to speak with Sheena engage his 1:1, but it required memory of her name and her role at the Windsor House before doing so. The coolest gift was the smile Sheena received from Cabe after recognizing her voice when she entered his room!!
Thru tearful eyes she agreed that a larger work is at Hand in her life with Caleb and Deborah both ministering to her personally at just the right moments...and when needed most.
Today's first "legitimate" smile in a long while with Sheena seemed to be contagious for Caleb and a good indication that his new cocktail of medications are beginning to soften the sadness he is feeling.
He greeted a trio of some of his closest girl-friends from College Station with smiles at supper that said "I am so happy to see you." It made my heart feel good to see the sadness disappear away from his even if for these brief moments.
The rest of the evening's visit was spent trying to engage Caleb with atm happenings as he ate his supper and then praying for him in and outside his room. To me, there is nothing more awesome and exciting than to stand back, watch and listen to this next generation falling in deeper love with the Father.
It is truly not about religion but a relationship, and I'm am seeing God become more and more personal with each day of this journey. As one of the young ladies put it, you cannot have faith unless you trust; and trust has to be developed as we walk thru life's circumstances with the Father.
I believe God has just answered my prayer on what is required to have an unquestionable faith....a Blessed Day today, Indeed!

PS.. "atm" is Texas A & M

well, daisy I think a new thread would be good, as many here have been busy with spring and life, as I know they are, prayer warriors in good faith. The Lord is an awesome God, and many blessing have followed their determination and obediance in being God's children. God Loves and Loves to give His Blessing, ask and ye shall recieve in all things.. keep God first and do not idealize illness over Him...

I attended our local Mayor's Prayer Breakfast today! It was great! Got to hear a speaker who was a former Muslim (from Iran) and was in Iran during the hostage crisis... among those shouting "death to the USA." He is now a Christian minister.
Very inspiring!

Caleb is making even more progress than above... amazing stuff!!
here is the latest on Gage!!!!
THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HAS PRAYED AND IS PRAYING FOR THEM!!!
--
We met with Dr Rytting at MDA today and the mri scan was clear!! We are so truly blessed and thankful that Gage is doing so well and his scan was clean. Missy and I are always nervous/anxious before every MRI and this one was no different. I remind myself how God has protected Gage the last 7 years (3 brain surgeries, radiation (twice), blood transfusions, eye surgery, shunt issues, eating challenges, muscle atrophy, facial surgery so Gage can smile, and the fact that Gage has had to learn to walk 4 times in his 8 years).
We were able to get clearance to remove Gage's central line so we will work to get that procedure (out-patient) asap. He can start swimming 5 days post-removal so Gage can enjoy the pool this summer (Praise God!). Getting the central line out will also be great for his confidence too. I can't imagine being 8 and having these tubes coming out of my chest...Gage has been amazing handling all of this. He will finish up on his IV treatment with Dr Allibone early next week so that will free up some of his and Missy's time.
Gage's balance has improved as well and he pushes us away now to walk a little bit on his own before having to grab our hand. Thank you for your prayers and encouragement.

Good Evening,
I have been trying to get on Lymenet, off and on this week, and haven't been able to when I've had the chance to try. My computer just kept spinning.
Great news about Caleb and Gabe both...miracles in the making! Lymetoo, thanks for the updates.
Pocono Lyme, thanks for sharing the website. Beautiful/powerful prayer by Dr. David Jeremiah.
payne, your post reminded me of this verse in Hebrews 11:6,
"And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him."
People often quote the first part of that verse, but that last part is so awesome-our "God is a rewarder of those who earnestly seek him." He loves us so much!
OK, on to start the new thread...finally. Prayers and blessings all!
