Our monthly lyme support meeting isn't until Nov 21st. I wish this would have gone lyme viral earlier than it did for that Nov 1st date they wanted.
We're planning on adding photos to this site after our next meeting. Better late than never.
KY needs to show it lyme faces, that wasn't included in the 300,000 annual numbers.

Thanks, tutu. I'll go look for them.
But I was referring to the 300,000 not including but a handful of cases reported in KY. Literally that's all they think we have.
Heck, I have contact with a handful every week for 15 yrs, personally. Our support group has allowed 100 people to find us and find the truth. It does my heart good.

Its good to keep replying so the number people seeing this and sending in their photo is maximized. The photo campaign puts a "human" face on suffering from Lyme. There are now 426 photos. Lets get it to 1000.
The deadline has been moved up to December 1, 2013.

lax mom, exactly what we are going to add to our sign/pics. The words repeated to ill patients over and over again in this part of US is....
we don't have lyme in KY. gggggggggggrrrrrr
POW, right in the kisser, if a doctor ever said that to me these day. Yes, I'm sure I'd do jail time. But it would be so worth it.

I'm not hiding from anyone or anything. Well, I might not post my mug shot.....if the occasion ever arises.
Cancer, MS, Parkinson, Aids victim don't have to hide their identity. Why should I be considered ????

Looking at all of those pictures representing lives that have been destroyed breaks my heart.
I swear, once all of the pics are posted, someone high up, the President, or somebody better address this.
I think this is going to be a turning point. It's one thing to ignore nameless, faceless patients. But, it's alot harder to ignore picture after picture of suffering.

The 300K number is a joke too. There is simply no way for me to come across this many people who have been bit or who have symptoms/Lyme with such low a number. These are just people that I now ask randomly & who are physically around me. I don't ask that often, yet I am surprised at how many have been affected.
The number has to be 1+ million & given how large the US is maybe even 100x more. So more like 3 million.
