I always believed. In god. I'm so numb now. Will God listen to others prayers for me if I'm numb. I try. My thinking isn't logical.

God absolutely will listen to the prayers of others for you!

I remember reading about the healing of a woman that occurred because of a stranger's prayers, and the woman did not even know that a stranger was praying for her.

The stranger saw a picture of her in a newspaper about an accident that she was in. The stranger prayed fervently for the woman and God healed her because of this stranger's prayer.

I read this in a book about the woman's near-death experience. The injured woman went to heaven and returned to life.

While in heaven, she was shown a life review. During the life review, she was made aware of the stranger praying for her that made all the difference.

Hi <<<<< lyme in Putnam >>>>>,

The Lord knows our very deepest tho'ts of the heart ,and knows when we are confused, hurting, worn out,and just feel lost, like an orphan w/ no place to call home.

Keeping reaching ,searching and calling out to Him!!!

There is a poem about 'Foot prints in the sand...' basically it is, when we look for God and can't find him beside us, and we only see one set of footprints...in those times He is carrying us.

I'll be praying for you too, adding my prayers to the others here. And yes I believe the
Lord hears our prayers for others!

My friend Krys' got out of the hospital a few days ago, many prayed for her, she was very ill, worn out, confused,in pain, and feeling really depressed... not understanding, why more and more problems keep happening.

She is still recovering from a rough surgery, but she is home, and was grateful for the prayers.
Krys' has had a chronic illness since she was a teen.

<<<<< lyme in Putnam >>>>> May God's healing love rest on you, and bring you peace and rest.

Jus' that Silverwolfi

The Lord won't forsake you because you aren't thinking straight...like Silverwolf says...the Lord moves even closer to you when things are the worst or getting harder.

We care about you very much and we will continue our prayers for you for sure.

Thank you all for your prayers. Good thoughts to you all. Going to run micros again Wednesday. This is mental torture and not fair. God bless my husband. If God gives me the grace to get back to earth, I pray my common sense comes back to repay all of this insanity for so long. I ask for continued prsyers through this. All of you suffering are in my thoughts, whatever's logical left, not much.

LIP-you are a strong woman to keep on, even when you feel disconnected.

I think of you often, and you hold a special place in my prayers.

It will get better, we just have to keep on trying.

Many hugs for you.

I found this among my mother's things after she passed away. She went through some tough times and I think this gave her hope.

I hope it helps you too. [group hug]

God has not promised
Skies always blue,
Flower-strewn pathways
All our lives thro’;

God has not promised
Sun without rain,
Joy without sorrow,
Peace without pain.

But God has promised
Strength for the day,
Rest for the laborer,
Light for the way,

Grace for the trials,
Help from above,
Unfailing sympathy,
Undying love.

'Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.' Matthew 11:28
