Anybody know how the hearing went?

For those who have not been following, he was scheduled to appear in court before the state attorney general today. United Healthcare brought charges against him for violating the 'standard of care' in treating Lyme Disease.

Hey cotton,

I responded to the post in Activism if you'd care to look. Don't know anything yet, but gave some possible scenarios.

I posted an update on the thread in activism.

The fibromyalgia I've had for 32 years was an undiagnosed Lyme symptom.

He was put on probation and cleared of all other charges for misappropriation of meds. I HEARD the state attorney recommended the medical board beef up on their Lyme knowledge. [Smile] Yay!

If correct, that is GREAT news.

In my mind this man is a hero for his courage in writing that blog and keeping in it up.

For too long the other side has tried to silence us and it has worked.

Every time a MD has the guts to step out of line and speak the truth, especially in so thoughtful a manner, it can only help our cause in the long run.

I totally agree with you. This is great news. How long will LLMD's continue to hide? It takes guts to do what he has done and that's a quality to be admired.
