Just saw this:

http://newsnetwork.mayoclinic.org/discussion/mayo-researchers-identify-new-borrelia-species-that-causes-lyme-disease/?linkId=21050440

The Mayo Clinic and CDC say they've found a "new" species of Borrelia that can cause Lyme in the northern midwestern US. And they named it after themselves - Borrelia mayonii.

A comment from a Lyme sufferer on Mayo's Facebook page indicates that there's much more going on beneath the surface, which does not surprise me.

By the way, I used to post frequently here under a name that was too similar to my real name for it to be "safe" to use anymore. Hello again to old friends.

Looked at their Facebook page. Not a lot of lyme fans of that organization! If the management reads those comments, someone is going to disappear them. Reveals them as the criminal incompetents they are with this disease. Don't these organizations realize that when they totally screw up in one area, people begin to wonder if they get anything right.
