To reduce your focus from this hellish nightmare, take yourself anyway. . . Without having to leave your house.
I go to the San Diego zoo cam website. They have live zoo cam of elephants, panda s, money's, polar beers, kolala beers, penguins, and birds. The camara s zoom in on the animals and the surrounding San Diego mountains. Beautiful, peaceful, and sooo relaxing.
My favorite is the elephants. . . They eat constantly, go swimming, and take lovely care of their youngings.
I also go to the California beaches websites. They have live cams of the famous beaches on the Pacific Ocean. I try to imagine breathing in the warm sunny air and swishing my feet and toes into the hot sand.
Anything to stay connected to a recognizable existence.
P.S. Hermits don't have peer pressure.
If it's not the economy then it's Lyme stupid.

That sounds very nice. Might you share the links to your favorite ones?
Since you like the elephants, you might want to check out the manatee. Ok, not the same thing, but I'm trying! HA!
If you go to the bottom of this main page you'll see some manatee pictures with a Save The Manatee link to click. Very slow movers and so goofy looking they are cute. But, relaxing and interesting.

My favorite is beachcamsusa.com It has links to beaches, lighthouses, sunsets, sunrises, yachts, nightlife, hotels, where your imagination takes you. And it's listed by states ! Be warned. . . You can disappear for hours on this site, thank god.
And who doesn't love the innocents of animals ? Kids.sandiegozoo.org

San Diego zoo shuts off cameras at 5 pm pacific time.
Another great beach site is Mybeachcams.com. It has Florida beaches, calf beaches and Hawaii beaches. Alas, calf and Florida are done for the day but Hawaii on.
They also give the weather and surf reports.

This is the next best thing to being there. . . For all fellow bedridden Lyme warriors. . . Keep treating. . . Keep fighting. . . It will get better !
There’s no denying that a huge part of the appeal of Bob Ross (1942–1995), creator and host of the instructional public television show
The Joy of Painting, was his soothing, almost hypnotic voice, waxing poetic about “happy little trees” as he created his signature landscapes. But can Ross’s mellow monologues help insomniacs get a good night’s sleep? . . .
[Although, it's never a good idea to go to sleep with any electronic device near for even cell phones - even when not on and especially when charging -
can change the heart and brain rhythms to the detriment of health yet for anytime during the day . . . just before bedtime in another room, a very fine companion.] -

I also liked all the Brussels cat pics - when the police told everyone not to post anything about police action there, someone said, "well, if we can't say anything about police actions, here's a picture of my cat Mozart."
Then people started posting pics of cats fighting terrorism. Just google for it - it's funny.
