I am trying hard to follow a diet that will not aggravate the disease, but it seems like I can't eat ANYTHING! So far, the only things I feel I can eat are kale, broccoli and water! And that's only if they are organic! Can Someone please look at the list I wrote below, and tell me if any of these things are safe to eat:
eggs, oatmeal, sweet potatoes, nuts, chicken
thank you

Those are all great to eat, unless you are allergic to any of them (eggs are a common culprit). The oatmeal wouldn't be a good idea, if you have trouble digesting grains.
But if you don't have major GI tract issues, and you stay away from sugar and processed foods, you don't have to limit yourself. Just stay away from foods that make you feel worse. There a different diet for every day in the calendar, and they all say different things, so trying to always eat the absolute healthiest foods all the time can be counterproductive.

GMOs on food are a major issue. Oats get a heavy dosage of GMOS. I'd suggest laying off of them unless it says organic.
It's pretty much sugar that weakens the immune system - that's the one to keep low in the diet. Also alcohol is hard on the liver. Otherwise, if you're not bothered by foods, I think it's ok to eat.

Mike, look for the organic Steel Cut Oats. They take longer to cook because they aren't an over processed food.
Add different flavors daily to keep it from getting old like raw organic honey, cinnamon, wild blueberries(in Frozen Food aisle), other fruits.
