Great article. The Medical Community is sure to fight this tooth and nail since it will take away one of their cash cows.

- Nina Teicholz spent ten years researching this for her book "The Big FAT Surprise" - her work is outstanding. She went over every "study" ever done and no where was there ever any proof about that. It was all a lie.
Saturated fat & cholesterol are needed in our bodies.
"Vegetable Oils" are not, in fact, they are toxic. Produced industrially with chemicals and high heat, not good for us at all.
Search "Nina Teicholz" via YouTube for her talk on "Vegetable Oils" and the damage they cause cause the blood vessels.
Ivor Cummins has excellent videos / podcasts as well highlighting the real causes of heart disease. See his YouTube presentations. He is sponsored by the David Bobbett of the Irish Heart Disease group (forget actual name).
Mr. Bobbett's documentary of his path is detailed in the film "The Widowmaker" and show how a coronary calcium CT scan is the most important test.
A low carb / high fat diet is what can really help.
Also, vitamin K2. Ivor Cummins podcast #21 with Patrick Theut, a biochemist, gives good detail about how LCHF and vitamin K2 can be instrumental in helping arteries clear the calcification deposits.
And VIRTA HEALTH website has lots of research about a ketogenic / very low carb / high fat diet helping in so many ways. -
