Sometimes when I think about trying to reassemble the destroyed pieces of my digestive and immune systems I get discouraged. For years my digestive problems have kept me from being able to take the things I need to take to fix my digestive problems, and I'm running out of safe food to eat.
There's something about getting on youtube and listening to Gomer Pyle sing his "The Impossible Dream" song from Man of LaMancha that lifts my spirits. It's about biting off more than you can chew, and doing it anyway, which isn't a bad description for living with Lyme disease.

Very good reminder to listen to music when we are down!!
That brought to mind my trip to Mexico City in the 70's. We went with a Spanish class from college. We saw a timeless performance of "Man of LaMancha" in a big theater.
One didn't even need to know Spanish to figure it out!!
Carry on, GVS!
