I cannot explain much because of privacy issues but he ha been so very ill and now that things are calming down. We believe the fever, meds and to long high heart rate [finally normalized] etc. are cuasing him confusion. He isnt communicating except to nurse, Not to family, friends ,pastor or me . I am sad and concerned, he had pneumonia among the situation. at least hi is in a regular room now normal nurse not ICU tho thye were good to him, And he has a stomach perforation unknown reason. I am having eye trouble diabetic neuopathy . If you are one who prays please pry for him.

I found this beautiful prayer:

Almighty God, You are the only source of health and healing. In You there is calm, and the only true peace in the universe. Grant to each one of us Your children an awareness of Your presence, and give us perfect confidence in You.

In all pain and weariness and anxiety teach us to yield ourselves to Your never-failing care, knowing that Your love and power surround us, trusting in Your wisdom and providence to give us health and strength and peace when Your time is best; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Update: He wa able to pay a couple bills yesterday Then had to go to sleep,, he got to eat soft ice cream and cream of chicken soup today, they are testing if his stomach perforation has healed. Carefully and observing him closely He is still medicated and slept most of the day. I am delighted for him. When he is strong enough and it is safe for him they'll get hm into rehab. Thank you for being here in a very difficult and dangerous time for us.

OK will try if I can get into Messenger . There is some sort of tech war here literally . Cell towers communication companies etc. Sometimes we cannot get into our laptops for long and often the cell info wont go thru it is odd. and I thot idaho was wild. Mario is better but still very very weak , And they monitor everthin he eats and drinks carefully Because of the stomach perforation. Like Outer Limits show they pretty much control everthing. But God.... Love that, isIn Control and I beleive He will heal !

Hello , I made a remark about our situation not meant to be annoying ,rude etc, I cannot find it so it might have been deemed politically innapropriate etc. I was referring to Helen Keller, and said : I feel like When/If Mario gets to come home, WIth eye sight and hearing diminished , I feel a vibration in this room is that you Mario ? Ouch no its the fan . I wasn't tying to be rude ,have been praying for Gods healing touch for us both. Hoping it is still there but earlier screen literally blacked out I had to go back in to facebook after I got laptop back up. SO very tired, trying to save a pup that Mario really wants. He has a very sharp Bark. and that can get me in trouble with the neighbors ,and puppy re-homed . etc, Back later cell txts multiple.

It is covid,he had pneumonia, with,he has stomach perforation again, ulcers, they closed the smaller ones but one big one remains, it was bleeding, the nurse said he let them scan it today, no growth which is good, they may be able to do more traetment tommorrow,But we will see. There may be a chance he has 'covid dementia,' it is hoepfully temporary, He hasnt cooperated very well. we were up acouple days ago, before they found the ulcerations, he wouldnt let them do anything, he said get me something to stop the vomiting. Now that I understand, he was shaking so bad,he hasnt been able to hold a cell or phone. so not communicating, I have had to lean into the arms of the Lord and pray. alot. thanks for all the prayers he needs them,

Sorry,it has taken so long, Trek,is better, kidneys are working etc. he will need a minor surgery most likely, waiting on urology to make up their minds.

He eats a bit. but doesn't have much appetite,he has lost weight, and his ankles look tiny, almost to tiny. He cannot walk yet, having walked all of five or so steps since Jan. 23rd. It will take awhile. But he is alive and breathing, gets a bit confused occasionally, but so do I !

I praise God daily that he is alive,we are having odd insurance issues to say the least, but we're alive and kickin' as the saying goes! updated for now!

I'm sorry to hear that! My best friend is also seriously ill, which pains me very much. I didn't know how to support him and read a lot about what to do on a certain website, thekey.com . I realized something. It is better not to ask the sick person how they feel, even if you really want to know. That way, you will only remind him of the disease again. Personally, I didn't think about it most of the time, but when someone asked me how I felt, I could hardly hold back the tears. Instead of torturing the patient with questions, just cheer him up, "You're an amazing person!" And if you do want to know how he's feeling or the progress of his treatment, ask, "What's new?" Be strong in spirit!

Hi Anne, thank you, Trek is still bed bound, but finally they are working toward getting him a cottage home, with others who are disabled,a place liscensed by the state. When there is space he will go to our Veterans home, and hopefully, eventually back here. BBL Silverwolf
