This great article by a law student ( who will graduate soon) outlines not only her own struggles with Lyme disease, but her law journal article - a very needed appeal for needed insurance coverage for Lyme disease.

https://www.lymedisease.org/medical-insurance-coverage-lyme/?

There is a link to read the entire journal article.

How great is this - to be published in a law journal! Great for awareness and maybe support for getting health insurance coverage

Thanks for sharing! As far as I know, Lyme disease isn't always easy to diagnose, and treatment can be costly. Many insurance plans don't cover the cost of all diagnostic testing. Some don't cover long-term antibiotic treatment, which is often needed to eradicate the infection.

That's why it would be great if the law student could share her article through more sources. It could provide valuable information about the need for insurance coverage for Lyme disease. It could also open a dialogue for change in the current insurance policies. I'm sure big companies would react and try to make a change.
