My husband heard this man speak today. Really nice story. He has a book called Charlie Two Shoes and they are planning a movie about his life with the Marines.

This is totally fascinating, and I am definitely buying Charlie Two Shoes - the book. Thanks so much for posting this. Quite a story.

How ya been, Sweetie! I haven't posted in a while, but I still lurk every now and then. Hope your Lyme has disappeared. I think mine is staying benign, although, I still Rife at times.

If I remember correctly, there is an odd (more recent) story behind one of the authors.

I'm sure it's still a good book though.
