Lymetoo: Yes, it is. Poster on JPF site pointed out, if FBI manages to plant porn, or, other at Mar-a-lago, Trump is finished. I'm not a fan of any politician, but would have a difficult time believing it in this case.

The next few months toward mid-terms will be esp. interesting.

“And the crowd for the raid was large. I have never seen such a large crowd. Much bigger than the crowds at the FBI raid at Obama’s house.” (Oops, no FBI raid at Obama or any other former president’s home). [Smile] [Smile] [Smile]

The National Archives already had Trump bring back 15 boxes of papers he should not have taken to Maro-Lago. Some of those boxes had papers that were torn up and they had to be taped together.

And don’t forget Trump appointed the current director of the FBI.

No one needs to plant porn at Trump’s place. He has shown his pornagraphic attitude when he campaigned for the 2020 election and videos were released about how he talks about women. I won’t quote him as it would be against a Lymenet rules to use such language.

What I find ironic is no news outlet knew the raid took place until Trump announced it. DOJ is going to be super careful about anything involving Trump as they will be scrutinized closely especially if Republicans gain the majority of the House or Senate.

As Lymetoo said, “It is about to get very interesting.” Just hope that “interesting” doesn’t mean violence.

Not looking good for TFG ( the former guy)

The Supreme Court voted down his bid to block the documents from the January 6th committee, including ALL 3 of the justices he appointed. No one is above the law.

Sadly, this will motivate Trump’s base and speed up his running for president announcement as he cries “foul.” Too bad as I would like to see some decent Republicans run for president.

And you can bet he will be asking his base for money again due to this. Trump is always the victim.

I believe he suffered another blow as a federal court said he has to release his tax documents to Congress. I am sure Trump will use his usual delay tactics and try to appeal again.

Lymetoo:

FBI sure took quite an interest in Melania's wardrobe. Wonder why? Paper files in there?

Trump tore up papers? Hmm. That's odd for someone who's been around the elite & mob all his life; you'd think he'd at least know to shred them (incineration/scattering preferred).

Then, his association with Roy Cohn; the most vile & hated attorney in The U.S., who actually gave attorneys a bad name. He was quite the showman, according to my Mom who worked in WDC for a number of years as an Admin to LBJ when he was Congressman. She said it was a toss-up as to who was more disgusting between those two.

Enter, Trump's friendship with Richard Nixon, though paranoid & unbalanced, Nixon was really quite brilliant, but off the deep end he went.

The associations I'm interested in are those of Trump & his uncle and Trump & JFK Jr., who was one of his best friends. Uncle, who was chosen by FDR to catalog all of Nikola Tesla's papers and workings when Tesla died. A Harvard professor with PhD in Electrical Engineering (very rare at the time), very close to his nephew, DJT.

You can bet Trump knows quite a lot of history, regardless of how he acts.

With regard to JFK & Jr., I wonder if those files fit in Melania's wardrobe?

Not JFK and Jr.

Try Howard Hughes.

An example of Trump’s knowledge of history.

Just because Trump’s uncle was an engineer and went through Tesla’s papers doesn’t make Donald Trump an expert on science.

Just because he was friends with JFK Junior doesn’t make him a historian.

Trump is smart in some ways—criminal ways. But it will catch up to him.

Trump doesn't need to be a science expert; he had access to one of importance & expertise.
Trump doesn't need to be a historian, he's spent his life around those who've made history.
All Trump needs to do is know who's done what to whom and he knows this very well.
The truth catches up to everyone, whether Republican or Democrat and they all need to GO TO JAIL.

No, Trump doesn’t need to be an expert but he doesn’t use his resources well. Denying climate change shows his science stupidity. Same with history etc.

Just because my own father was the nation’s expert on dredge mining doesn’t mean I know much about dredge mining because I have very little interest in it.

You have to want the knowledge. Trump doesn’t want the knowledge. He is a narcissist who only cares about himself.

And you are right, the truth does catch up to everyone, but it seems you are saying all politicians and all those affiliated with a political party should go to jail. I don’t agree.

You don't know if Trump wants knowledge or not; you're assuming.

Plenty of narcissists in WDC, so I don't single out Trump.

It doesn't matter if you agree with me. I'm allowed my opinion as you are yours.

Go ahead and have the last word here. I'm going to post on different subjects.

helloitsme,

Of course, it doesn't matter if we agree as long as we can have a polite discussion.

And I do agree so many narcissists and not just in politics.

But since this started out about the raid on Trump’s home, I focused on Trump.

Hope everyone will vote!

Everyday the TFG (the former guy) spews the words ‘witch hunt’

The only time he shuts his mouth is under oath. [bonk]

Some facts Trump missed:

1. He could watch the FBI search via cameras.
2. His lawyers and secret service agents were present.
3. He claims FBI planted documents while they were at Maro-Lago, but then he claims all documents were unclassified. Both can't be true.
4. Even if all documents were unclassified he can still be prosecuted for taking them to Maro-Lago.
5. He claims he would have turned over the documents if he were asked. He was asked several times!
