Example of finished result: ( Note, no bold anywhere ) -

Since quotes are an important tool to aid in not only showing who you are responding to, but which part of their post. This gives you both.

Everyone can use quotes normally, and you can prevent all bold-ed text.

step1) install firefox

step2) install firefox addon stylish ( Restart firefox after you install it )

step3) Lastly, add this style script:

On the bottom right of firefox, there is a little icon that has a paper and pen or brush.

Rightclick it -> choose "Write style" -> "Blank style"

Then copy this code, and paste it into the new window:
code:
@namespace url(http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml);

@-moz-document domain("flash.lymenet.org") {

/* this disables bolded quotes ! */
*{
font-weight:normal !important;
font-family: arial !important;
}

}

Lastly, give it a description ( ie: 'lymenet' ), and save.

Now it looks like the above image.

( If you want help with more advanced styles you can PM me. )

welcome jack!!

i'll try that this evening; leaving for afternoon now.

i take it you are a computer programmer or it manager?? BIG thanks for my lyme eyes!

Welcome; i'm so glad you found us!! You've come to the right place for education and support!

please see BettyG's newbie package info on the link below; click on link at bottom of my package. Check it out as time permits for you!

***************

please go to my newbie links, copy the entire thing, and then print this off....FINANCIAL BURDENS compiled by melanie reber
print off pages 74 - 92; outstanding info there. i believe there are a few more general comments there without links!! print that off too as it's newer info from members thru their own personal, tragic experiences.

Betty's suggested POSTING GUIDELINES . many of us have neuro lyme where we can NOT read long solid block text and be able to comprehend and read it as is.

please edit your post by CLICKING PAPER/PENCIL ICON to right of your name. that opens up BOTH subject line and body text.

now please break up your WORDY SENTENCES into one sentence paragraphs. Then hit ENTER KEY ``TWICE`` after each paragraph; we need that space for comprehension.

NOTE: you do NOT have to use " ", just show the name of person you are responding to, and then type your comment.

IF you need to use "", PLEASE DELETE "bold" codes so it's regular type text we read vs. the dark, harsh/painful bolding, delete the first 4 characters of 2ND LINE of a ""

[QB] just delete these 4 characters, and bolding is GONE! my eyes will really appreciate that; it's one very bad side effect of my having lyme for 38.5 years!! xox

then go to left hand corner and mark box to receive ALL REPLIES, and click EDIT SEND

we thank you for helping us; [Wink] otherwise, we will SOB, SCROLL ON BY, since we can't read to help you. If I see posts like this, I SOB them; to hard on me.

People seeking doctors might be able to get help from their state online information and support group. Nearly 3,400 people belong to state groups. Some of the groups are small but more than 20 of them have 50 or more people and seven have over 100.

To find your state group, go to
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/statenamelyme

Type your state name and lyme as one word, like this -
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/newyorklyme

South Carolina is the only state that needs a hyphen between the statename
and lyme, e.g. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/southcarolina-lyme

The groups are moderated and you have to apply. Most don't allow doctor names, but once on the group, you can ask for doctors in a certain area and ask people to email you privately.

This is the icon you click on:

 -

Then you copy and paste the code into this window. Give it a description, and click save.

 -

Then it will update the webpages.

Bumping up for radfaraf/BettyG's question. [Smile]

Anyway to perhaps start a new paragraph for each sentence of two, by adding something else the same way?

You can use extra spacing between normal lines ( no enter key used ), like this example:

 -

Use this code
code:
/* uses larger line spacing in posts */
@namespace url(http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml);
@-moz-document domain("flash.lymenet.org") {

body table tbody tr td center table tbody tr td table tbody tr td table tbody tr td font {
line-height:45px !important;
}

}

Unfortunately, that kind of spacing makes me just as dizzy. [dizzy] [Frown]

Part of the problem is the need to break the run of text into digestible bite-sized pieces, otherwise it all just swims around in there. [Roll Eyes]

Thanks for trying though. [group hug] It would have been awesome to have been able to insert an extra line after every "." or two.

jack,

as ali stated, that was not what we were trying to go for unfortunately! what i wanted to know is of people who have LONG, solid block paragraphs of 15 lines to ENTIRE POST being ONE paragraph.

we neuro folks just can not read or comprehend that! i spend enough time on here, i'm done breaking up folks' post into digestible posts as ali stated.

but thanks jack for your efforts; that may help other folks who insist on posting 1 line entries, but not folks like me with severe neuro damage.

again, BIG THANKS for your time/effort! [group hug] [kiss]
