For those who actually can't go ordering tickets on line will increase sales and that's what they look at, not actual bodies in the theater.
We need work together aggressively. Turn out has been low. We have one shot to make this film continue to be shown across the country.

I checked with the box office and there were 40 presold tickets as of yesterday. I've spoken to a lot of people who are planning on purchasing at the box office. We're praying for a couple of hundred to show. I think there will be at least 80 from support groups in the area and friends.
tonight on NBC channel 5 in Chicago there is a special report. THey've been showing commercials all week promoting it as a special report on a "mystery disease". Our family was interviewed for this as well as another lyme friend who's on IV's. IN the commercial it shows some of my family, a day's pills for me and my friend giving herself an IV. The medical reporter saw the film a month ago and when we spoke she was really taken with it. Thought it was excellent. They filmed our family watching UOS and will be mentioning the Chicago showing this Sunday. We're hoping this will bring people out too as well as articles sent to papers, etc.

Just bought my tickets for Sunday!! Looking forward to it. Does anyone know if you can bring kids/babies to the screening?
ChicagoLyme, I saw the segment. Good for you!! I saw that ABC was to have a segment last night, but it was bumped to next week becasue of Michael Jackson's death. I emailed pleading to show it prior to Sunday. I hope your family is feeling better. If you don't mind sharing, did your kids get it congenitally?

Sorry LZOChicago - My computer crashed last Saturday and I couldn't remember my log in.
Did you stay for the Q&A Sunday? I saw the ABC piece and was disappointed they didn't interview a Lyme Dr. instead of the fellow they did. The family interviewed did great but the Dr. was encouraging people NOT to get tested for awhile and said symptoms wouldn't come on for 1-2 weeks.
Yes my LLMD thinks our children got it from me through pregnancy. I know 2 other families in our area where the whole families are infected also.
if you live in western suburbs our support group is this Tuesday at 6:30pm..unless you've got another one your a part of. Directions etc. at www.chicagolyme.com under Elgin support group.
Happy 4th.
