Looking for other parents that have been accused of munchausens by proxy or ficticious disorder by proxy when their children have lyme and or co infections. I have lost my chidren to their abusive father. They are still sick and not receiving treatment for almost 6 years. The doctor they used to say the children did not have lyme was a known anti-lyme doctor and their doctors were prevented from testifying I would appreciate any parents or anyone with statistics or knowledge of other cases similar please contact me.thank you!

I remember reading about a girl who was taken from her parents because the hospital s doctors disagreed with her private doctors, somewhere in Boston.
I m sorry that I don't have the link but her name was Justina Pelletier.
I followed her Facebook page.
She was in a wheelchair, only 15 years old at that time, very ill, and they threw her in a psych ward away from contact from her parents for only a year.
Finally a judge ordered her to be returned to her parents and a lawsuit was filed. Her Facebook page was "A Miracle for Justina.
Hope this helps

Thank you bartendebonnie and dbpei , I do know about Justina because she is from CT and it was well publisized I know mothers of lyme kids also have had this happen. There is a case just like mine in coping with Lyme book. I am not sure they turn out too well but even a few might help. I will keep Justinas case in mind.Thank you. Anyone else please let me know! God bless you all.
