I only just joined. I just pulled a deer tick off me last night at 1am and I know I was last in the woods on Fire Island at noon.

All this is new to me, but I found your website just in time to make my call and send my email. When I called they just asked for the bill number, whether I'm for or against it, and my ZIP code. I think that usually means they're getting more than a few calls that day if they're not asking for names and addreses.

Just wanted to add my thanks, too, Lysander. Your post really made me smile. I hope that you will continue to spread the word about the terrible situation we find ourselves in regard the OPMC.

Did you find the information you need in regard to your recent tick bite? If I were in your shoes, I would definitely be taking a round of antibiotics rather than taking a wait and see approach, especially given the highly endemic for Lyme area where you got the bite.

Please, everyone, follow Lysander's quick-study lead, and make those calls!

Ellen has instructed us to keep going with the calls till the legislature ends its session tonight or the bill is passed. Which ever comes first.

Me tinks we need a poll to see how many calls are being made.

The waiting is hard for those up there trying to get us ALL help.

I think they would like to see how many are actually calling...
