Hey guys..I'm posting this from Ellen:

*******************************************

We are soooo close to getting S.4148a through the Senate. People have
been asking me questions like, "Do you think we can get the bill passed
this year?" YES! YES! YES!

SO, NEW YORKERS, PLEASE:
Email AND call Senator Bruno IMMEDIATELY and ask him to pass S4148a, the
OPMC Reform bill. You can call over the weekend.

Email:
Go to www.senatorbruno.com/send_email.asp There is a form on which to
send an email.

Senator Bruno's telephone number is 518-455-3191.

Then go ahead and email the Governor by
going to the following web address and scrolling down a bit.
You wil lfind a form on which to include your email message. http://161.11.3.75/

All of this will take less than five minutes of your time.
------------
Those of you who have been with us for a long time know how close we
were to losing all our docs when we started, and how great is the danger
that that will happen again if we don't get this bill passed now.

We CAN do it! Just generate as many calls and emails as you can to get
us on the new calendar that will be written on Tuesday.
Thank,
Ellen

I just want to clarify that non-New Yorkers are asked to email Governor Pataki. Calls to Bruno are really just for New Yorkers.. BUT non-New Yorkers are also asked to contact any New Yorkers whom you might be able to get to write to Senator Bruno.
Thanks,
Ellen.

And please keep roaring until you see a post that either the bill has passed or the Senate has adjourned.

I just heard from Monica Miller that the Senate will meet both Tuesday and Wednesday. So please keep it up until you hear it is over.

This is about your own lives and the lives of your children. So please keep focussed on this action alert.

Ellen

OOooooo...I can feel it in my bones...

Let your voice be heard! ...and the voices of everyone you can get a hold of...... whatever it takes!

Let the Legislative Body know that we are a force to be reckoned with!

Good morning! Ellen let us know session is open today and tomorrow..

This is it!

The calls to ask people to make are easy.. NYers to Bruno..just state the Bill #S4148, and they will ask your county, or zip, or phone number.

All others (outside NY) e-mail Pataki.
